Vacation Blog – Day Two
Day Two: started off with a little rain, but by the time i got to pcola around 1pm, it was sunny with some clouds. Since i couldn’t check in until 3pm, i decided to go to campus to see if i could track down friends who are on staff in IT and csc instructors. Got to see their IT dept and their server room (which btw is key-card access). Won’t bore some of you with details about their IT dept. after that i stopped by the csc faculty area to see if any instrcutors were in their office and there was one and we talked for a good half hour and and couple of more instructors came in , but they had to get to class. So, i will see if i can chat with them later.
After doing some stuff around town, i came back to campus to see if i could get a hold of a student that was from my church, but couldn’t reach them on the phone. got my alumni badge and visitor id so i cane gain access to the sports center and ran into somebody i went to college, knew who he was, but couldn’t remember his name. š he actually came up to me and we talked a little, but he was in the middle of bowling, so it was short.
Came back to the room to eat my dessert from chili’s and found out that i was not given a fork to eat my cookie brownie had ice cream and hot fudge on the side. so, i will wait until tomorrow when i can get me a fork to indulge on such greatness!
